2013 Bush Leadership Fellowship

Beginning in October of 2013, I began a two-year journey as a Bush Leadership Fellow. The Fellowship is about building on and growing as a leader in your community, while also focusing on an area of interest and passion. My work focuses around building strong parent coalitions in the Minneapolis Public Schools, specifically in north Minneapolis, to work collectively and advocate for our students educational success. The Fellowship will allow me to build my own capacity as a leader and work along side others in the community to address systemic issues impacting our students and our communities future.
